McCormick & Schmick's Happy Hour - McCormick is a chain restaurant, however, each restaurant has their own happy hour menus and the prices are set by the individual restaurants. The McCormick closest to us is the one on Rodeo Drive. Their happy hour is from 4:00 to 6:30, then 9:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. on every weeknight. You can get a huge gourmet cheeseburger and fries for $2.95. They also have Chicken satay for $3.95, Korean barbecue for $3.95, sweet potato fries or garlic fries for $1.95, black mussels for $4.95, etc. There is a $3.50 drink minimum per person. The McCormick link will take you to the Rodeo Drive specific website where you can pull up all of their menus, including the Happy Hour one.

SushiStop: There are two on Sawtelle blvd in the Westside (Los Angeles). I prefer the one right in the heart of Little Osaka (2053 Sawtelle Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90025; (310) 473-3999). I just feel that the food is fresher. Most of the sushi rolls and dishes are $2.95+ tax. They also have little curry bowls, udon (plain or with tempura, etc.), and chicken teriyaki bowls for $2.95+ tax. The bowls and noodles are fairly good size for the price. There is usually a long wait. Cash only.
