Attention Homeschoolers

HOMESCHOOL BUYERS CO-OP

If you have not heard about the Homeschool Buyers Co-op, you are missing out.  This is what they say about themselves,

"The Homeschool Buyers Co-op is the world's largest buyers club for homeschooling families. Founded in 2005, we are family-owned and operated business dedicated to providing top-quality curriculum at the lowest price possible."

They are legitimate as I have used their service and was able to get a fantastic discount on IXL math and language arts subscription and some American History video series.  Leveraging the large buying power of their coop, they are able to negotiate a lower price just for their members.  It is like a union for the individual consumer.

MICROSOFT YOUTHSPARKS
Microsoft has a program called YouthSpark.  Through this program, Microsoft provides tech-related educational programs to youths.  For example, during the year you can arrange a special field trip to learn coding, digital photography, etc.  During the summer, Microsoft offers tech camps that run about 2 hours per day, 4 days per week.  There is also tech-related education Microsoft offers through their YouthSpark Hub such as game development, coding, etc.  There is so much related to YouthSpark that I am still learning about it.  The YouthSparks program is totally free.
