Another example of stacking and creating your own discount.

Here is another example of stacking and creating a (better) discount for yourself.  Just last Sunday, I was at Costco and walked by their gift card section.  As it is Costco's gift cards give you a 25% discount on a $100 purchase.  That is a 25% savings.  However, I noticed last Sunday that the Buca di Beppo gift card was discounted an extra $5.

There were other gift cards that also were also on sale but I knew those were not my go-to stores.  Buca, while it is not a restaurant I frequent,  it is a restaurant we do go to on occasion.  Remember, as in all coupons, if you end up buying something just because of a coupon, you are actually losing money because you are buying something you would otherwise not have purchased.  The idea is to use coupons to get a discount on things you would actually buy even without a coupon.

There is a little more to this, however.  When I saw the Buca gift card sale, I remembered that the Los Angeles Valpak (those discount mailers) had a Buca di Beppo coupon.
